While heading R&D at Crucell, he recognized that embracing diverse perspectives across all divisions from discovery to development, was pivotal to its success. To illustrate this, he recounted Crucell's team-building cooking class experience. Each team comprised members from various functions and was given specific ingredients, reflecting both the company's diverse expertise and finite resources. The challenge? To collaboratively craft a delicious dish.
